Service Pack(s):
Ultra
Description:
A test that is copied from Original to instructor's choice and then to Ultra, is deleted from the content section. However, it remains present in the gradebook as a column with no content item associated. Even though it was associated with a content item before attempting to delete it.
Steps to Repeat:
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
  2. Create an Original Course
  3. Create a pool of questions (1 essay is fine)
  4. Under Content Area create a Learning module
  5. Inside the Learning Module add a folder
  6. Inside the folder, create a test
  7. Select Reuse question > Create question set
  8. Use the pool questions
  9. Make the Learning Module, folder and test unavailable
  10. Create another course with Instructor's choice set
  11. From the Admin Panel, copy the Original Course into this new one. For the copy options:
  • Copy course materials into an existing course.
  • Copy links and copies of the content
  • Select all. No enrollments.
  1. Convert the Instructors Choice course to Ultra. Notice the previously created Module + folder + test are all there.
  2. Click on the ellipsis (…) > Delete the module with everything inside
  3. Go to Gradebook

Observed Behavior:
The content item is deleted, but its column remains in the gradebook.

Expected Behavior:
The content is deleted.
